Make requests for specific employees by position for long term Job assignments
Select the right resource for the job based on availability, distance to Jobsite, and certifications
Drag Jobs or Job Phase assignments directly onto resources on the Dispatch Board
For shorter term field labor, you can forecast the workers needed per day or week by each specialty
Resources can be scheduled to meet the project needs for each specialty on a daily basis
The Global Projections page will show a daily or weekly summary of all projected specialty needs compared to scheduled

Why workforce management / Resource planning?

The Fiddletree team recognized the need for an all-in-one solution for resource planning that allows Employees, Crews, and Equipment to be requested and assigned to each construction phase of each Opportunity / Job. Using one cloud platform for all of your resources will make sure all of your employees have the latest data about where they need to be, which resources are on their job, and to quickly let the office know when they need more resources.

The only construction costs that can be controlled are Labor and Equipment. By assigning the right resource for each request, construction companies can keep their employees happier and more productive while helping the bottom line. The Gantt charts are simple ways to see the allocation by Job or by Resource.

FIddletree Resource Planning also makes it easy to see the resource demand upcoming opportunities added onto the resource demand for current Jobs. This allows construction companies to forecast their resource needs and understand if they need more employees/laborers. The utilization reports show the utilization of each resource and resource category compared to the average. This makes it easy to see who’s over or under allocated.

Pricing

Implementation fees are T&M at $250 per hour. We usually need 5-10 hours to set up the integration and to train your system admins of Resource Planning / Projections.

We follow the philosophy of training the trainer at your organization since they are more familiar with your business.
